- Champion the Love Cape Town (visitor-facing) and Cape Town Tourism (industry-facing) brands to build awareness and engagement.
- Analyse brand positioning and visitor insights to shape and articulate Cape Town Tourism's vision and ambition effectively.
- Develop and execute cohesive brand strategies and go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Lead the creative development of campaigns to inspire and engage target audiences.
- Set performance metrics, including cost parameters, pricing strategies, and sales projections.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, focusing on ROI and KPIs.
- Conduct market trend analysis, visitor research, and competitor monitoring to inform strategies.
- Drive consistent marketing and advertising activities to maintain visibility and impact.
- Develop innovative approaches to brand growth and market penetration.
- Foster alignment among stakeholders on brand direction and strategic objectives.
Must have:
- Experience: 6–8 years in Brand or Marketing Management, with a proven track record of success in strategic brand development.
- Strategic Insight: Ability to analyse target audiences and market insights to craft impactful campaigns.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong skills in assessing data and applying findings creatively to marketing strategies.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate ideas effectively and inspire stakeholders.
- Market Savvy: Thorough understanding of current marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
